Regular meeting ,of the Council of the City called to
order by Mayor. Woodson.
ROLL CALL;

READING OF THR, JOURNAL:
The'minut'es oT. Me last regular meeting of February 15th were read
and approved as recorded.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS:
The n�f6fi h ' ly of the Auditor Tredsurer Poundman,
Police Judge, and Garbage Inspector,, - were,. read and filed.
The Clerk reported licenses , collected ,t,o date in the amount of
$2809,.10,; uncollected licenses.. in -the. -amount of. $2.8.,00 The uncollected
licenses were referred_ _to .th.e.City Attorney for investigation.
The,Sanitary Inspector made a detailed report of the number of wells
in Petaluma, aluma, which report was read and filed and referred to Mr. Harry N.
Jenks w ho: is in charge of the water rate investigation.

William J.MOLAughlin a member.of. the ,Park LC.ommiszsion of this city for
the term expiring .July 1., and .until, his successor is appointed
and qualifies, adopted by 7 affirmative votes.

introduced by Councilman Penry seconded by Councilman Myers., expressing
the sympathy of the City-Council to Mr. S Gonzalez in the death of h1s'
wife, and direpting the. to send a copy of the resolution to Mr.
Gbnzalez adopted by 7 affirmative-Votes.
Mayor Woodson commented on the successful meeting of the North
Bay DiVis% ' Lon of the League. of 'California Municipalities and the fine
performance of the Petaluma Munitc ' 1pal.Mins1trels I on..thi.s occasion. On
motion by Councilman Gervasoni seconded. by Gouncillman Deiss, the Clerk
was directed t6'.. a6nd a- let-ter of appreciation to 'the Minstrels f or t I heir
splendid program. Motion carried and so ordered.
Re, .- -improvement of stre,ets, in. Linda Vista Subdivision:
Mr. Kelvin. Hein addressed the Council relative to the proposed
iinprovembnt of the stre.ets.,in,Linda,Vista Subdivision, . asking assistance
frot the City in this,work. The matter was discussed and it was pointed
out that the City wa ' prohibited from improving unaccepted streets.
It Was suggested to Mr_.,Hein that he investigate the matter of the
off i ' �'cial grade for st_r m
eet�s andake,sure that the proper gpado.is
established officially - ,before proceeding With the improvement.
Mayor Woodson complimented the Street, Committee and Street Department
for the work done on the storm drain at the corner of Fair &' Bassett , Streets
It was rep6rted that Mr. Gillespie of the State Board of Health
was unable to be present at this meeting and ther efore . the scheduled
discussion of the water situation was postponed until some future date.
