PresenT Councilmen Deiss, Gervas.oni, Tngersion, Myers, Penry, Peters, and Mayor Woodoon. READING OF CALT�: 'The , CrePkrjad the following call for meeting: NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE 'IS HEREBY GIVEN That 'a Special Ro'eti - ng of the City Council of the City o'f Petaluma, California, will be held on Saturday the 10th -day of April, 1937, at the hour of 10 o A. M. in the Council Chambers,, City Hall., Petaluma, California,. The Purpose of said meeting will be. to discuss the submission of the following propositions to the qualified electors of the C ity at an election to be held on June h, 1937, to-wit: (1) The :incurring bonded i ' ndebtednes.s for the acquisition, construction, and completion of a sewer and sewage disposal S ys t (23m; (2) The incurring of a bonded indebtedne.ss:for the acquisition construction,., and completion of - fire station, building, or house on the property of the City at the corner of D and 2nd Streets; (3) The incurring of a bonded indebtedness for the acquisition,. of the following, fire apparatus, to-wit: Tw a ' fire pumping engines and their accessories. Saidmepting will also . be for the purpose of introducing and adopting' resolutions determining that the public interest and necessity of the City requires said above mentioned public improvements. Jenks,, the engineer employed to prE)pare - preliminary plans for a.aewe r and sewage disposal system; that Mr4 Jenks had estimatedl.that the cost of such sewer project would be $225.,000.00 estimate was accepted by the City Council thereupon Resolution #4608 C.S. introdu c�ed by Councilman Penry, seconded by Councilman, Ingerson, determining that the publi.c. interest and necessity demands the acquisition, construction and 6ompletion'of the following municipal improvement, to-wit: A sewer and s.ewage disposal, system,, including pipes, disposal plant, pumps,, pumping plant,, machinery, equipment, land, easements and other works, property and appliances nece or convenient to make and provide a sewer and sewage disposal system for this city. Said municipal i t mprovemen is necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purpos:es and powers of said, City of Petaluma, and the cost I thereof is estimated to be the SUM Of $2 which is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual. income and revenue of said City, adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Counc-ilten.Dei-as Gerva8ohi,, Ihg6rson, Myers, Penry Peters; and, Mayor Woodson. Re proposed new fire station: Resolution #4609 C.S, ,introduced by Councilman Gervasoni, seconded by Councilman Deiss, determining that the public interest and"nezes,sity demands the acquisition,, construction and completion of the following municipal improvement, to-wit':, A fire station, building or house to be constructed on the property owned by said City at the corner of D and Second Streets, Petaluma, California. Said MunicApal.1m is nebessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said City " of Petaluma and the cost thereof .is estimated to be the sum of $40,000..00, •which is and will be too great to be'paid out of the ordinary income and revenue of said City, adopted by the.following vote: Ayes:: Councilmen Deiss, Gervasoni, Inge:rs.on,:.Myers,,,. Penry, Peters, and Mayor Woodson. Noes;*. None. Absent: None.. Re proposed new fire fighting equipment: Resolution #4610 C.S. introduced by Councilman.Gervasoni, seconded by Councilman Deiss, determining that the public interest and necessity demands+ the acquisition of the following` fire apparatics, to -wit: Two Fire Pumping.Engi-nesi and their accessories. Said municipal improvements are necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes, and powers of said City of Petaluma, and the cost thereof is, estimated t'u'be the sum of $18,000.00, which is and will be too great t.o be paid out of the ordinary annual 'in ^:ome and revenue of said City, adopted by the following vote :: Ayes;: Councilmen Deiss,, Ger-vasoni, Ingerson,, Myers., Penry, Peters, and Mayor Wood_ son.
