City of Petaluma, California, providing for the issuance and redemption
of bonds of said city in the total sum of 283,000 :.00, to be known
as City of Petaluma Municipal Improvement. Bonds of 193 for the ,following
purpds,es, tow t: (1). $22'5.,000.00 thereof for the acquisition 'construction.,
and completion ;of a sewer and" sewage, disposal system, '.including pipes,
disposal plant., pumps, :pumping plant, machinery, equipment, land, ease
inehts and otter works and appliances necessary or convenient to acquire,

This being the time set for the opening of *bids on the,
two fire. pWAping engines and-ac,aeasories, the Clerk reported
having received-two bids and proceeded to open and read said bids
.one from the, General Fire Truck Corporation,, and th.e o.ther from,
Ameri'can LaFran,ce and Foam ite Inc..

discuszed and'referred to the Board of Fire Commis,sion for
investigation.

Mayor Wood's,on reported that a pro je6t has been f iled with,
the W.P.A. for the continuation. of the Thompson. Creek drainage
tube from the South :side of 5th Street to the south side of
3rd Street,.
, Councilman Penry reported that the Street Committee will
confer with the buaine•s,s men and the.Chamber of Commerce relative
to a proposal 'for restoration of parallel parking - on We,:§ Ave.
also that there�-painting of the diagonal parking lines has been
delayed pending possible changes.in,the method of parking.
