Re - :purchase of fire pumping engines:
t The matter of a- warding the contract` for the purchase of two fire
pumping engines was discussed, representatives of The General Fire Truck:
Corporation and the American La France and Foamit;e Industries., Inc.
.addrass.ing th'e Council on the merits of their ,products. Mr. J.Frank
Burns, member of the Board of Fire Commission also addressed the Council
stating that the Board of Fire Commission were satisfied that the equip-
ment offered by the American La France and Foamite Industries, Inc.
fully met the needed requirements. The matter was discussed and
laid 'nn the table until Wednesday evening., September 8th, 1937.
