Councilman Ge'rvasoni, directSng that the salary' of 'the City Attorney be increased -in the amount of $5O.XO per month .during the duration , of the con® construction of the new sewer system and .fire station, said increas to take effect Oc:tob:er 1, 1937, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Petition for improvement of Be'llez View & Hill. Blvd. Petition signed by 18 property owners of Belle View Avenue and Hill Boulevard, requesting that the City Council take steps to improve Belle View Avenue from the northwesterly line of Hayes Avenue. to - the extension, of the northwesterly line of, Orchard. Motion carried and so ordered. Mr. Cuslidge of 'the P.. G. & E. Go, addres's;ed . the Council stating that the P. G. & E had completed the job: ,of taking poles; from 'Main & !Third Streets. He further stated that the company has 'in mind as a project for the near future, the removal of the cable ,from the bed of the Petaluma River, which will,el minate the difficulty encountered during dredging work.
