Cable - Washington .St. Bridge: C.ounc;i loran Penry reported that the matter ",of the cable for the Washington Street Bridge had been taken`up with the P G, E. Co. for an estimate of cost of putting the- cable across the. river on its poles also an estimate o;f cost of the overhead therefor., F ".Monthly audit of _City Books Mayor Woodson brought. up the ma tter of having. an., audit of the books of the various city d.e.partments conducted on a,mohthly basis rather than an annual basis., It was `the consensus of opinion that ths.'plan'be followed. Mayor.
