Re - disconnection of housedrains.from sanitary &ewera: Mayor Woodson asked the advice of Mr-.. Jenks r.egard_ng the advi,seabi'l'ity of passing an ordinance providing for the d`is- connection of housedrains from sanitary sewers. Mr Jenks stated that the roof drainage should be separated from the sanitary sewers but that it might be well to leave the matter in abeyance for one season and then it can be det:Armined. wha.t..percentage of the flow i,s from this. source., Sn the meantime the City Attorney was asked to, .secure copies of ordinances from other cities re hous.edra ns'e Mayor Woodson reported that the members of the Highway Division, together With other State Officials;, are making a tour of this district and expect,. to 'be in Petaluma about 2 :80 Tuesday afternoon, May,10th. He asked that as _ many as possible of the memb'er-a of the City Council plan 'to greet said officials. View Avenue drainage: Mr.. Jenks reported 'that a review of the funds alloted for the Sewage Disposal Project shaed that it will be Possible to expend app;roximat`ely .$15,,000.00 for the purpose of - ,the Mt .'Vie.w Storm sewer and that a rough estimate from the .contractor indicated that the work can be done for - that amount.. Mr Jenks was authorized to proceed with the preparation of the neceasary plans and specif cationis: for said work.
