order. by Mayor Woodson.

The monthly reports:of the Poundman, City'Wharfinger, Police Judge,
Auditor, Treasurer, Garbage Inspect were read and filed.
Report from J. H. Frahm, Inspector on the New Fire Station, read
and filed.
Report from H. K. Brainerd, ,,Inspe,ator on the Sewage Disposal Pro'ject, .
read and filed.
The annual report of the Board of Park Commissioners for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1938, reported and,fi.led.

ADOPTION OF ORD INANCES:
ordinance No '489 C S. introduced by Councilman Penry, seconded by
Councilman Peters, entitled,, "An Ordinance of the City of Petaluma,
providing for and authorizing certain changes in Unit "'C" of the Municipal.
Sewage Dis `osal Project, for a net additional cost of $l,485.87; accep't'ing
the. agreement of A. Soda & Son, the contractor for said Unit "C" for the
changes in said work for the said net additional sum of $1,485.87; direct-
ing the City Attorney to submit said changes to the Federal Emergency:
Administration of Public Works.for approval and inclusion in the grant
for the. project,; providing for the payment of all costs of said. changes

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Re WA grants
A dis was had regarding the filing of applications .for
future PWA projects, the construction of a pavilion at Kenilworth
Park ,and the construction of a bridge across Copeland Street, havin g
been previously suggested. No action was taken pending, further
study.
City Engineer- Gonzalez reported that the widening and patching of
Third and 'Main Street was now complete. The matter of providing
temporary connection for the elecgr.olers recently i nstall ed, was
,referred to the. Lighting Committee.
The Street Committee was asked to get in touch with. Mr. J1H_
Frahm regarding the ,Mt: V'ie'w Storm sewer pro
