Sactioh 1. That 'the offer of the United States of America, to
the City of Petaluma to aid lay way of grant in ftnanc the
construction of improvement's to a recrea-tional park, including
appurtenances thereto, buildings, water supply and necessary -

making a grant to the; City of Petaluma.. (herein called the
"Applicant"), in the amount of 45 percent of the cost of the

but not to exceed, in any event, th,e sum_ of . $6,,849.
2. By acc.eptanc.e of thi,s:Offer the Applicant covenants to
begin work on the Project as: 'earl,y as possible but in no event
later than 8 weeks from the date. of this Offer and to complete
such. project with all practicable, dispatch and in any event
within 6 months- from the_ cote menaement of ..construction.
3. This offer is made. snub j;e.ct to the express. condition that,
if, the Administrator shall determine a't.any time that the Applicant
has paid or agreed to ,pay, whether directly or indirectly, a bonus,
commission or f.ee'to any person, firm or corporation for attempting
to ,procure an approval of the Applicantls application, or for alleged
services in procuring; or in attempting to procure such approval, or
for activities of the na -tune commonly knoinm as lobbying performed or
agreed to be perform,e.d in connection with the application, then the
Admini , strator ,shall have the right, in .his discretion, to rescind.
this Offer and, any agreements resulting therefrom, and, in the event
of such res:ciss1on,. the United States of America shall be under
further obligation hereunder.

Section 2. 'That :said. City of Petaluma agrees to abide by all
the Terms and Conditions of said offer, including the Terms and
Conditions annexed thereto-and made a part thereof.
Section 3'. That J. S. WOODSON., Mayor of the City Petaluma,
be, anal he i;s hereby authorized and directed forthwith to - send to
the Federal Emergency Administration -of Public Works, three
certified copies of the proceedings of this regular `meeting, in
c:onnec'tion,wt.h the adoption of this Resolution, setting forth
this, Resolution in full, and such further documents or proofs in
connection with the acceptance. of said offer as may be requested
by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works.
The above resolution was seconded by N. B. Ingerson and was adopted,
with the following voting aye: COUNCILMEN WM DEISS, A:GERVASONI,.
N.B.INGERS'ON,, LELAND H. MYERS, J E. PENRY, HERMAN PETERS, MAYOR
J. S WOODSON, and the. following voting, .Nay.: None.
'The Mayor thereupon declared said Resolution carried and the
Mayor and City Clerk thereupon signed said Resolution in attestation
thereof.
