the manner in which Baker Street. is being re.paved. They stated
that said street had originally been paved with 4" concrete and that
ins -tend of` replacing the pavement with concrete, Hein Bros.. the sub -
contract•or on said project, was re- paving with oil bound macadam and
that the ditches were not being properly rolled or tamped_. - They
further s:t'ated that Baker Street is,used for heavy trucking and that
they, are convinced that the being done now will not hold. up
un.der heavy traffic.
Mayor Woodson stated that the oil bound macadam was being used
at this time because the street will continue to settle and any
concrete pavement` would act as a bridge over the sections being replaced..
