Pro.j'ect, adopted by 6. affirmative votes a Reque s t f or - $5'0.00 Armi s ti ce Day: A committee headed by Mr. Paul Elmore addressed the Council requesting a donation of $50.00 t.o aasist the_ American Legion in. meeting the expenses' for the Armistice Day geleb.rati,on. The matter was referred to the F_inancs Committee for investigation and' recommendation. Re - acceptance of Sewage Disposal Project A discussion was had regarding the ac-ce,ptance of Units "A''- and "'D" of , the Municipal Sewage Disposal Project, Mr. Herbert Brainerd reporting that the additional work mentioned in Mr. Jenk letters of October 10,. had 'been satisfactorily performed by both contractors . It was the consensus of opinion that the 'work should be accepted and aprr oved by the Consulting Engineer Mr. Harry N. Jenks, before any formal acceptance by the City Council,, therefor no action was taken regarding the acceptance of any contract,.. On motion by Councilman Deiss, seconded by C'ouneilman Myers, a ,vote of thanks was extended to reporter John Anderson and the Petaluma Argus- Courier for the efficient re.p'ortin - of civic affairs and particularly the reporting of the ,progres,s of the construction of the new sewer disposal system. Motion carried and so ordered.
