introduced by Gounc1lman. Gervasoni, seconded by Councilman Penry,
accepting said resignation, adapted by 6 affirmative votes.

The Clerk reported the filing of Affidavit of Publication
of Ordinance No. 501 C..S.
Ordinance No. 507 C.S. introduced by Councilman Penry,
seconded by Councilman Peters, entitled., "An Ordinance of the City
of Petaluma providing for I the ' improvement of Washington Street, between
the *6slt�erly end of the Wash Street, Bridge� and the easterly
line of Main Street, by widening th-e same 'a distance of 5 on each side
ther'eof and the construction of 'new , curbs and gutters and any work
incidental thereto all•:L-n accordance With the Plans and specifications
hereto approved by the Division of Highways, Department of Public
Works;, providing that the cost of" said work shall be paid f or out of

the unexpired term of Nelson B. In&rsor, adoptbd by 6 affirmative votes.

Councilman Penry reported that Mr. A Baker had
requested permission to install driveway on F Street over the newly
c onstructe d 'Thomp s on Creek tube.* A, di of the matter was had
by the members of the Council and. the City Engineer . and it was the
con of opinion that the. City should not surrender any privileges
to Mr,. Baker until he had put up a guaranty against damage to the tube,.
The entire matter was referred to the Street Committee and City Attorne
Resolution of Condolence - N.B*.Iftg6rs

a memorial to Nels Ingerson, adopted by 6 affirmative.votes .
