as recorded.

to whether or not, there is ;sufficient, funds to co ntinue this

, Was directed to furnish the City Attorney with plans of the tube,
particularly that. seetton: of 'the tiabe 'to be constructed under the
tba'qks on Fir Street.
Councilman. Penry reportbd that Mrr Gerald Hdrr"igan,who
operates a. shell yard on Levee Street-, desires to fhAke some
additional linprovementa at is:aid location ana needs additional
space. The matter was di,scus-sed and ref erred to - the' Street
Committee with po to act.
- A - proteat made by Mr� Melvin Hein of Hein Bros. BAsalt
Rock Company to the effect t�at'lbcal aeaiers had been discriminated
against in the recent purchase by,the City of the black mix for
the F Street Improvement,, was referred to the Stre ' et Committee
CityEnginear Gonzate,z informed the Council that - this particular
mix is not'available lodally'and it is necassary, to purchase it
elsewhere.
City kt:torney Brooks reported that the Wickersham Park
Project will be complet.,ed by Friday of this week and will be
ready for acceptance by the 27th of March. The C

asked,to meet in a body with the members of the Park Commission
:and view the park at 5 oVclock on Monday,_ March 27th; 1939.
Mr. Ernest Dulac addressed the Council pro. testing against
the payment of the license fee of $1.00 per quarter per each vending
machine, stating that he. felt that the business license fee of $12.00
per annum should apply for the business..regardless of how many vending
Machines -were operated. The matter was referred to the City
At torney. -
UNFINhSHED BUSINESS
Th F nance ommit reported progress in�the matter of
drafting an ordinance for the licens of bi.cycle°s
City Attorney Brooks reported re the 'termination of the
contract between the City of Petaluma and the Biltmore Company,
s_tat -tat , than at the present time he is- endeavor n.g° -'to � loaate Mr.
Edwin C:arewe, the original signer of the contract, or his heirs.
Councilman Leland. Myers, Chairman of the Zoning Committee,
stated that the zoning map has been. completed by his committee and
the City Engineer, and asked that the Council review the same before
the map Is posted for public view,

for the-purpose of accepting the Wickersham Pare Project and
