Councilman Deiss,,.Chairman of the :Buildings and Grounds
Committee reported on prices re"Lived..'for plumbing painting„
and repair work in the 'City Hall, stating that the work required
to be done: will cost ar-oundt$506.00. Councilman. ' : started

that part of the work will be the installation of new pluihbiqg,,
The Buildings and Grounds Committee, was asked to check with the
Finance Committee before. pr,oceeding with the work.
Mr. Carl Peterson addressed the Council re.gardin-g, the
poor condition of the road. between Lakeville : -
and the, Black Point
Highway, stating that many residents of this C1 ty, who work, a. t
Mare island are moving, away from Petaluma rather than travel
the road between LakeWille and Black ;Point;.
Councilman Penry reported that he had attended' the,
recent meeting of the Safety Council in Santa Rosa-at which time
by =laws .and a constitution had been a He stated, that the
purpose of the organi-zation is to promote safety through education,
co-operation- with offic -ers., etc.
