Mayor Woodson reported that the 30th Infantry will Arrive
in Petaluma on Friday June 9th and will camp,at Kenilworth Park.
Mr. A. Ma:delena addressed the, Council stating that the'
Grandstand' at McNear Park needed attention - that hat x416 eds.had grown
around it - and that the toilet-s, were not properly cleaned - -'�The ,
matter wa referred to th%e Park Commission for attention'
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
The Street Committee was given-further time to report on
the matter of establishing lighter standard specifications for
maoadamized streets,- Councilman Penry stating that he had,.' discus sled

Councilman Deists reported on the work of his committee
in connection with the observance., of Flag Week, He a$jk6d 'th6t
the members of the City'lGounci.l and other City Officl,a16 attend
the Flag Day Ceremony at MdNear Park on June 14th and that ' they
wear buttonhol.6flags during Flag Week.
Mayor W6odson-reported. having met with Mr Geo.. Mattis
of the State_ Division of. Highways Supervisor 6eo'rg6 Kennedy,
Councilman Penry, and the ClIty and. the County Engineei-areg
the eliviination, of the turns and realignment of the highw'dy=`both
north and south of Petaluma And tha,t another meeting Would be
held in - Colonel Skeg'gs. Of f1cle. in San Francisco . in near future.
Council -man Peters, Chairma-n of the Garbage Committee,`
Asked that the Council meet informally after this regular`
tee and discuss the proposed ordinance regulating the
collection of garbage.
