Creek Drainage Tube-, , Widening of F Street,, etc. all of which Pro,jects had added-greatly to the work .o• the committees.' Oscar Glahn;; Superintendent of Streets, reported that immediate repairs are needed­ th e Washington Street, Bridge. The matter was referred to Street Committee with Power to act. City Attorney Brooks reported having 'recent I ly written to the Public Works, Administration condition explatning the - of'.the- City's finahcas regarding the 1937 sewer construction project and requestih that Ammediat e - act -ion be taken .on. thel payment of all or a, substantial part of the. final. grant, more,, than $30,,000. He also reported 'ha v ing written to.C6ngrassman Lee soliciting- his aid in expediting the grant payment. City Attorney Brooks, also reported that attorneys for The Biltmor6 Compamy had secured , pontinuances until: July 20,, 1 939 in Whl- to make at answer.to the, complaint filed by the City of petaluma..
