A long discussion the necessity of.
changing the 'present police radio system,, City A al t ney Karl Brooks
reviewing the problem and the requirements of the Federal Communications
Commission. HO pointed out that the Federal Communications Commission
had; assigned to this station a certain waive length that it must conform
to and that thO:Governameint- must be furnished With reports by a
licensed second-class radio opdr-ator that said station Is
performing on the wave le' assigne'd..

The matter was discussed, City Attorney Brooks

necessar in order that the City would not be placed in the

The majority of the members of the Council felt-
