radio communication and centralized identification system for the entire

Councilman Berger presented a map or Bayliss Street from
Washington Street to Copeland rStreet, and Copeland Street from
Washingt ' on Stree to the Poultry Producers plant. He-state,d
that, the 1 , 1 1.P.A. would not approve, of Bayliss Street as a
project by it-self but w ould approve of it if it were Ind
with Copeland Street .' He further stat'e'd that it is the wish
of the Poultry Producers to Have 6 foot gutters 7 inches deep:.
The matter was refe`rred to. theL "Street Committee and City
,Engineer to in an estimate as to the cost of said project.
Street Sup,erinte Oscar`Gldhn ;called attention to
the� 'poor condition of Bridge, Copeland and Hopper- Streets. He
stated - that , since the 'heavy truck traffic has been divertdd -
over :said streets that they are rapidly wearing and that it will
require approximately $1200. to put said streets 6 c

to last through the winter.. The matter was referred , to the
Street Committee .for investigation,
Mayor Woodson on r eported that the division of highways will
shortly award the contract. f'or the re-alignment of the north
and south ROd4iood HighW4y here and, that there will, bea.demand
for h_ous�es by construction workers.

City AttorTey Brooks 'reported that 'the Petaluma IkAilling
Company had promised to, improve a dust pipe blower, a complaint against whi ch. was recently f iled with the City Council,.
