A discussion was had regarding the ordinance recently adopted which provides that permit's be secured before bonfires are started Councilman Pe'nry.sugg6,sted that th&Fire Depart- merit makeo a survey of all premises in the City of, Petaluma and issue permits to all those entitled to them. T - he matter was referred to Councilman Gervas.oni to take up with the Fire Department. The Street Committee and Supt. of' were given power to act in the. matter of having. fender piles driven at the Washington Street Bridge, then cost of same to be under, $500.,00 The Street Committee reporte t d that the VIPA commenced work on.Baker Street and that as soon as that project is shed' they will begin installing curbs and gutters o 'Bayliss ,Street.
