Police - .Department had arrived.

ounc man S e 'ell, Chairman of the Sanitation Committee, told of a
recent inspection made by him at the.. sanitary sewage plant and that every-
thing was in a. satisfactory- condition.. He indicated that landscaping
of the grounds would. be undertaken at the proper time and said that recent
criticism for lack of thi improvement was. not justified.
The Street Comriittee'rePorted,that work had started on the drainage
projects at 2nd & :H Stre and at 4th and, C
- City Engineer GonLalez reported that the re= surfacing of Ea: t D.
Street would be completed shortly and that the:Northwestern Pacific
Railroad Co., had, s'ent up 38 meet to repair the crossings.
