fees have been paid to the City.
Councilman Penny reported that. his committee had met with

The Street Committee reported that temporary repairs to the bridge on. Bridge Street .had been m�d'e under the supervision of - Superintendent
Oscar Glahn,.
Mr. Harold Eckart of Hotel Petaluma said that at a, recent meeting
of the California State Hotel Association and its executive committee, it
was decided to make a concerted effort to get "defense Workers to spend.
money' and th`eir.vacations in this State;.
Councilman Berger . announcced' that Fire Ch =ef Ben Benoit has returned
home : from !a hospital in San. .Francisco and will soon be able to resume his
du ties with. the Fire 'tepartmeht.

Conference of Mayors and Councilmen`.,held�in Fresno 14th and 15th. 'All
