advertising, the e Clerk reported having 'received one bid from the
Petaluma Argus- land proceeded to open read said bid

share it with the Rationin g Board. The matter of improving the
room with, better lighting and floor covering was discussed and
referred to the Buildings and -Grounds with power to act.

with.theinsurance brokers for the ,City . of Petaluma with regard
to War Damage Insurance for the City.., and wished an expression of
opinion as 'to whether the City should carry- War Damage Insurance
on 90 or'100% of the actual value of city propertyi This matter
was discussed and it was the consensus n8u8 Of

The re- surfacing of "Main & 3rd Streets as a future pro jact ,
was discussed,, City Engineer Gonzalez reporting that he estimated.
this Work could be done for a cost of approximately42'000,
Mayor` I'Voodson stated that the Fli,ghway Division. was.. in favor of this
improvement and also that it Was a very suitable project for County
participation.
Councilman Berger extended an invitation to the members of the
City Council to inspect the Control Center after.the next'C.ouncl
meeting.
