B St. sewer by -pass: Councilman'Penry said that his Street Committee 'ivas about ready to proceed with the building of a by -pass sewer at the pumping plant at the foot, of_ B Street, but that 'no definite figure as to the cost has ,yet been ascertained'. North Bay League to. meet in Petaluma Jan. 22,1944. Mayor Woodson called attention to the fact that Petaluma will be the host city for the next meeting of , the Northh Bay ,Division of the League of Cd ifarnia Cities.. He appointed 'Councilmen Se dell, Brown and 'King as a Committee of Arrangements for said meeting. Garbage cleanup:. Representatives of the City Garbage Company and the Royal Tallow an,d Soap Company met with the City Council and discussed ways and means of remedying a situation recently created by the dumping of wet garbage on_ the city dumps.. It was agreed by all concerned, following a long discussion, that every effort would be made to keep garbage and rubbish separate ''and all of: the provisions of the. Garbage Ordinance inviolate, and that a program to educate householders to the necessity of keeping garbage and rubbish separate, 'be launc -hed at once.
