Coun:ci ma_n 'S71 reported that follovdng the recommendation recently received from the city insurance brokers,, the city property value for insurance purposes has been incre'ased.$10,000., at a slight additional cost to the City 1 Councilman Brown reported the completion of the Water St. Wharf,, stating that the contractor had done a very fine job .and that the piles donated by the Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railroad -Co. had worked in very nicely. Councilmen Penry and Deiss reported on the damage, done by the windstorm to the roof of the City Hal.1; Councilman Penry stating that in the emergency he had. arranged for a temporary roof; for new chimneys and glass replacement. He further stated that he believed that much of the damage could have been avoided if the' front doors of the City Hall had been closed and suggested that new doors be installed on the second floor_. This- wa8­ discussed and taken under advisement. Councilman Seadell reported that he understood that the garbage now being delivered to the Tallow& Soap Co. is_acceptable to "t hem,. City Attorney Brooks stated that nd.tices to the householders are now being printed and as soon as completed will be delivered to the City Garbage Company.
