REPORTS OF OFFICERS The Trionthly reports of the Polic6 Judge PoUndmaster,, Rodent Exterminator Auditor Treasurer and Chief of Police, were read and placed on file. The Clark reported the filing by H. L. Lorentzen and wife,, claim and application ,for Conveyance .of a City Dead for a portion of Lot 282. Said claim was posted in the United. Dredging project: Mayor Woodson'reported that the Poultry Producers have requested P ge the War Dept.. to dredge the uppor' Part Of the river near their property and that land must be - provided.on which to dump the spoils. Councilman King stated that the Wagner property is in readiness, levees having been already built for a previous project. Councilman Brown suggazted that other necas sary dredging be planned when the engineers are here making their surveys. Group Insurance: On motion by Councilman King, seconded by Councilman Brown., Mr. P..Hansei.i ., r epresenting the California Physicians Service, was given permission to solicit the city employees for surgic and hospital- ization insurance!*. Motion - carried and so ordered.- City Engineer-Gonzalez: gave a preliminary report on the drain age of pro I party and highway located just east of the City Limits. He stated that the County Engineering Dept. had astimated. thgt the work can be done for.approxip-ately $3,000. The matter was discussed and the City Engineer asked to 'submit any reports on the pro,ject in 'writing, and to proceed with his surveys as earlyas p.ossible. ...The matter of securing a portion of the War Chest Funds for the local Hospitality ,House was discussed and Councilman Brown was delegated to attend the next meeting of the County,WaP Chest Fund in Santa Rosa.
