levee; the meetings of the Board Of Equalization,; and the 'Delinquent
Tax-, Lis t.
The report of the Auditor for the month. of June was read and f iled.

This being the time set for opening bids for "the construction
of a levee, the Clerk reported having received three bids and- proceeded
the bids were, discussed and taken under advisement until the meeting
of JUIY 17th., pending the receipt pt of -, a - permit from, t I he McNOar I Co. for
the use of certain land for dumping the spoils.

This being the tiffi for opening bias for the offictal
advertising for the fiscal year 1944-45, the Clerk repOrted
received a bid .from the - Petaluma Argux-Courier, whereupon"

the bid of the Pet-aluma Argus-Courier and declaring said newspaper to
