Regular meeting of the•Council of the city of Petaluma called to
order by Mayor Woodson.

,Councilman Deiss and City Attorney Brooks reported that.accord-ing
to a State Law pazzed in 1943 - it is° necessary for the City to display
the -State. Flag on public buildings and in meeting rooms. The

for the purchase of suitable fiagsi
City Attorney Brooks.reporte that Attorney Cromwell ageez that
the e,stab'118hment of the width of Weller St. is a matter of clearing
the title to the strip of land. and a matter for the title company to
,.decide what proceedure is necessary.

.City Attorney Brboks,repo,rted that. he had prepared a dismis
of the action of Perry vs. MCNear and the City of Petaluma and had

had:' 'that as soon as the work was done on the levees and the drainage:
ditches that the case would be dismissed and asked him. to. carry Out
that understanding and have his client sign the dismissal to the
action., Mr. Mur advised 'that his client had tsigned the dizmIgsal
but -does not wish to f ile it until the winter storms set in and see
if the drainage ditches work as efficiently as the City Engineer
predicted.
In this connection it was reported that the tenant on this
property has f illed - up. a part of the drainage ditch. f or a cattle
crossing and that 'this should be cleared out immediately. -It was
recommended that a bridge •could be built as zi cattle crossing

and the mat Was referred to the Street Gommittea..f.-or investigation

couftc. i. tha dredger is expected to arrive
in Pet.'aluma on Nov. '7th and that the Pipe lines for it are already
laid and that the Wagner property will be. used as a dumping area fo
some.' - of the spoils.
