Adjourned meeting.of the Council of the City of Petaluma,
called to order by Mayor Woodson.
ROLL CALL:
Present:. Councilmen. Brown, Dei King., Penr,
and 'Mayor Woodson,_
Absent: Councilman Myera.
Post4var projects:,
A d1scussion was had regarding propositions to: be placed
on the `ballot for the June 12th General Election. Af ter a
discussion it . was was the of opinion that the two post"war'
.projects" i - e a City Hall and site;' and an Auditorium and
.Recreation Building and site sho,uld be submitted to the voters as
separate proposition-s, theit,otdl cost of the two buildings not
to exceed $300,.,000. In thi connection - At Brooka r&view-
ed a draft of the *ordinance and his des ' ignati - on s
of the City Hall and Administration Building f 'use of
Fe,deral, State,. County and City a" ncies:

Auditorium and'Recre.ati.on'Building. The language 'of the drafted,
ordinance was approved by the City -Council.
Mr. J. Clarence Felciano', Architect for the posit-war
projects, conferred with the City` Council regarding plans f or the
two 'buildings stating that hat 'he, had made a ' survey of all of the
departments: in the City�Hall a ' nd obtained the ideas and suggest.—
ions of the: dep@�rt:mqt, for the new City Hall and is now
correlating the information.. A discussion was,had of 'plans.

For the information of the City Council -the City Attorney
reviewed the terms of the contract submitted by Mr. Fe'lciano
which was approwed by the City Council, it being agreed that

the fee for preliminary plans and est co

The City -Attorney reported, that application f orms aPO
b eing f - OrWarded to the City for application for State aid on
plans and site acquisitions for 'local post-war public works..
Mayor Woods reported that representatives of the State
Highway Division will be .in Petaluma on Tuesday to discuss the
re .
surfacing o Main and Third Streets.. -
Mayor Woodson also announced that 0. E. Bremner had:
asked the co'-operation of th City in `the eradication of wild
artichoke plants inside the City Limits. This matter was referred
to t-be. Supt. of Streets.
C cunc.ilman, King called, attention to Senate Bill +'625
which. earmarks lbb million dollars; Of State money for local posto
'war projects:, It was agreed that Assem,blym4n,'McCollister be
-asked. to give this Bill his support..
