Absent Councilme -King and Myers.
No reconmiendation for City Plan from Bd. of City Planning Com.
The Board of City Planning Commission of the City of Petaluma
. attending the meeting of.the City Council., reported that it had been
regtflarly moved,, seconded and carried at the Special Meeting held by
them,on May 3rd., 1945, that no recommendation on the matter of a City'
Plan for the City of Petaluma be made to the City Council.
, The action taken by the Board of City Planning Commission
eliminated , the possibility Of placing the two proposed project's on the
ballot'as': one' combined proposition, thereUp.on . a dl-scussion was. had'

interast'and necessity demand the acquisition,, construction and completion
of a City Hall and Administration Building, including all.land, landscaping,
improvement of grounds and facilities, fixtures furniture equipment
and
property necessary and proper for the housing and accomodati,on of and
use by the - departments,. commissions and officers and employees of the
'City of 'Petaluma, f or. an, estimated sum, of 0200 and Turther that the
public interest and necessity demand the acquisition.., construction.and
completion of anauditorium,. public'as8embly and convention hall, and
recreation ation building containing rooms, halls and offices together with.
all land landscaping, improvement. of grounds.,, and facilities, fixtures
furniture, equipment, and property y necessary and proper to provide a
place and,. places for meetings of and activities engaged i n by veterans
members of the: Armed Services, the National and State Guards.,,, youth .
groups, and other public groups and Organizations,and to provide a plabe
or places for holding lectures,, plays, exhibitions, athletic 'contests

entertainment and t'raining for the estimated sum of $220 was
adopted by the following vote:
