order by Mayor. Sales.

directing. the Auditor t draw warrants against the 'various City funds
in payment of claims allowed and approved by the Financ Committee,
adopted by 7 affirmative votes®
The Clerk reported the filing of Affidavit of Posting of
Ordinance No. 291 COS.

Ordina.nce 291 COS* came up regularly, being an amendment to
Ordinance No..27, providing for lean.4o additions in the rear of buildings
in the fire limits and the materials to be used therein, and was adopted
by 7 votes.

the improvement of "E" Street, between 6th and 7th Streets, adopted by 7
affirmative votes `

directing the City Engineer to prepare plans, specifications and estimates
for the improvement of uY lso East ';,D" and - Hopper Streets, to co both
Portland�Cement Concrete Base - and also asphaltic base; also to prepare
a plat of an assessment district to be assessed to pay the cost of
said improvement work; adopted by 7" affirmative votes.

Resolution #3266 C.S.
introduced by Councilman Riewerts,.seconded by Councilman. Ingerson,
granting the .application of property ,owners on West Street, betwe:en
Keokuk and Walnut Streets, to improve said street by private contract,
said work to be done under the supervision of `the ' City Engineer, adopted
by 7 affirmative votes.
Councilman Je,ssen brought up the advisability of driving piles
where needed on Bridge Street while the pile driver working on the.
Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railroad trestle, and on 'motion regularly made
and carried the City Engineer was given power to act for doing said work,
provided that the 'work come under the $200. charter limitation.
