Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Sales.
ROLL CALL:
Councilmen present: Farrell, Glahn, Ingers.on,. Jensen, Riewerts,
Van Bebber and Mayor Sales.
READING OF THE JOURNAL:
gnu es of the last regular meeting of November lst and
the adjourned meeting of November 4th were read and approved as recorded.
REPORTS OF CITY OFFICIALS:
The erk reposed the filing of Affidavit of Publication, of
East " D "Street assessment; also the filing of Affidavit of Posting of
Ordinance No. 30.5 G.S.
REP_ ORTS OF STANDING CO2,1NITTEES :
The report of the.Finance Committee was read and filed, where
upon
Resolution. #'3366 C.S.
introduced by Councilman Van 'Bebber,se.conded by C °ouncilman Riewerts,
'directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the various City Funds
In payment of claims allowed.and approved'by the Finance Committee, adopt-
ed by 7 affirmative votes.
The request for a catch basin on Western Avenue. opposite Fair
Street was dropped for the present.
PETITIONS AND COT 1 :
Communication: from the League of California Municipalities
requesting 'attendance at the Traffic League meeting, read. and filed.
Communication from the American Legion re Armistice Day, read
and filed.
INT -OF ORDINANCES:
Ordinance NO. 306 C.S. introduced by Councilman Farrell.,
seconded by Councilman Van Bebber, amending Ordinance. No. .260 C.S. by
prohibiting the lase of gasoline stoves or heaters in the City of Petaluma,
was read, approved by the City Attorney and ordered posted.
A DOPTION OF ORDINANCES
- Ordinance No. 3.05 C.S. introduced by C Jessen, second -
ed by Councilman Van Bebber, known as the milk ordinance, came up
regularly and was adopted by 7- affirmative votes.
NEW BUSIN
- This being the continuation of the hearing on Copeland Street
and it being the consensus of opinion that more work should be included
and the district enlarged,
Resolution #3367 C. S.
introduced by Councilman Van Bebber, seconded by Councilman Farrell,,
dismissing said proceedings, adopted by '7 affirmative votes, whereupon
the Council with the City Engineer, was named a committee of the whole
to make a careful investigation of the needs in this locality and
bring in recommendations at the next regular meeting.

fur 'bher time.

E. Ardengh permission to sell s.oft drinks at his place of business
1/644 Main Street, adopted by 7 affirmative votes..
