ROL CALL: dune -ilmen present`: Glahn, Ingerson, Je.ssen, Riewerts,, Van Bebber and Mayor Sales. Absent: Councilman Farrell. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS: CommunicAtion - from D. P., McGrath,. asking for permission to install machinery at,#501 "D" Street for the purpose of making slippers and ch'ldr;en.'s shoes, read and 'filed,, and Resolution #3401 C.S. introduced by Councilman Jensen, seconded by Councilman Glahri, granting said application, adopted by 6 affirmative. votes, 1 absentee. INTRODUCTION'OF'ORDINANCES: Ordinance No. 30 C.S introduced by Councilman.Jess second- ed by Councilman Van Bebber, establishing the grade of Bridge Street from the easterly line of Main Street to the former channel of Petaluma River, was read, approved by the City Attorney. and ordered posted. NEW BUSINESS: Accbpt:ance of subdivision .maps r Resolution #3402 C.S. introduced by Councilman Glahn, seconded by Councilman Ingerson, accepting the plat of "Raymond Height's. Subdivision," adopted,by 6 Affirmative votes, 1 absentee. Resolution #3403 C.S. introduced by Councilman Van Bebber, seconded.by Councilman Jessen; accepting tie ; plat of "Fuller Subdivision. No. 1,', adopted,'by 6 affirmative vote Z, 1 absentee;. Resolution #3404 C.S. Attorney G. P. Hall addressed the QQuncil regarding the manner In which the patrons of the California Theatre,blockada th.e.street and sidewalk when purchasing tickets. Refer.red.to the..Chief of Police for action:. 1 Councilman Ingerson reported that the sidewalk on:3rd Street, between I. and K 'is, considerably below grade, causing great inconvenience bo the public in the wet season.. Referred to the Street Committee to investigate and report back. Attorney Howell reported., in behalf of Miss Nora Hutchins, that water from the west of town which runs through a culvert on Fair Street and enters the Cavanagh tract, flows through her Upham-Street property, causing damage. It was the consensus'of opinion that this is a natural :waterway but the matter was referred to the Street Committee for investigation and .report. Mr. :.I. B. Raymond addressed the Council regarding a.sewer along Olive Street and the City Engineer was.direct'ed t:omake a survey I and, report to the Council as to whether or not a sewer, could. be laid along. said street.
