The matter.was,fuxith6r referred to the - Engineer.an.d Street; Committee to bring in a map of the property to be benefitted and the approximate. cost. of acquisition. K St: The City Attorney - reported that the. Brainerds are Willing to con- vey a deed for the opening of K Street but the property owners 'Claim that what would be 'K -is included In the deeds to their property and they therefore claim title to,the street. It was decided to take no'further action in the matter. Storm sewer Edth St.. The, Ulty"Engin submitted profile, estimate and plan for the storm sewer for Madison, Val.le.Jo and Edith Streets. In this connection the City At-torneyzvead a communication from Geo. P. Cherry St: The matter of improving Cherry Street was= referred to the. Street Committe( and Street Superintendent. City Attorney Howell rrep orted that the Court of Appeals had _affirmed, the' decision of the Superior Court in 'the' Case of Joseph Beratta vs the City of Petaluma. On motion by Councilman Jes,seA, seconded by Councilman. Van Bebber, the - City Attorney was authorized to take the ' case to the Supreme. Court. The matter of repairing the pound at Kenilworth Park was referred to the Buildings and Grounds,.C'ommittee and the.Park Commission. Madison Street: Rb6olutimor. of. Pdr: Cochrane., a property owner in the vicinity was present and agreed to circulate a petition for this work, , the City Attorney to draw up the necessary petition.
