.Regular adjourned meeting,'of the Council of the City of Petaluma
called to order by Mayor Sales.
-ROLL CALL:
Councilmen present: Farrell, :Glahn., Ingerson, Jessen, Riewerts,,
Tan Bebber and Mayor Sales.
INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES:
r inance No,. 3 . introduced by Councilman Ingerson, seconded
"K Councilman Riewerts, appropriating and setting aside the sum of . §650.00
for the purchase 'of 'a roadster for. the street department., was read,, approved
by the City Attorney and ordered posted.
NEW . .BUSINESS:
®® ounc',lman Farrell reported having investigated the licenses
charged by other cities for the exhibition..of circu.s.es, and. stated that in
comparison our license was very reasonable., The: Commit,t.ee recommended
that the ordinance governing this. be left a -s it is.. Report and recommendatio
accepted.
Easement- McNear Co.
An easement from the IvlcVea.r Company to the City of Petaluma was
presented and filed, and
Resolution of Acceptance No. 3444 C.S.
introduced by Councilman Jensen, seconded by Councilman Van Bebber, receiving
and accepting said grant of easement, and directing the City Clerk to
r.eeord the same, adopted by 7 affirmative voties.
Street Paving:
J. B. Piatt presented specifications, plans, profiles, detail
drawings and assiessment district map for certain proposed improvements
in -the matter of acquisition and improvement distri -et No. 1 of the City of
Petaluma, and
Resolution ;3445 .C.S;
introduced by Councilman R'iewe,- is > , seconded by Councilman Ingerson,
approving said specifications.., plans, profiles, detail-drawings and assessmen
district map, adopted by 7 affirmative votes,_and
Ordinance of Intention No 1
introduced by Councilman Glahn,,. seconded by Councilman Hessen, setting
. Monday, the 6th day of June, 1927. at the hour of 5:00 P.M. as the time
when all persons. having any objections to the proposed work and improvement
may appear before the Council and be heard, and directing the publication
of said resolution of intention, adopted by 7 affirmative votes.
