Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called to
order by Mayor Sales.
RO LL CALL:
Councilmen present: Farrell., Glahn., Ingerson, Jessen, Riewerts,
Van Bebber and Mayor Sales.
READING OF THE JOURNAL:

REPORTS OF OFFICIALS:
The Clerk reported the filing of Affidavits of Publication of
Notice to Bidders re official advertising,and Notice Inviting Bids
in the matter of acquisition and improvement District No. 1 of the City
of Petaluma; also affidavit of posting of Ordinance No. 314 C.S.
The Engineer submitted estimate and profile for the proposed
Olive Street Sewer. Filed.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES:
The F nance7omi.* ee rendered its report of numerous claims
against the City, whereupon
Resolution #34.61 C.S,.
introduced by Councilman Van Bebber, seconded by Councilman Riewerts,
directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the various City Funds
in payment of claims allowed and approved by the Finance Committee,
adopted by 7 affirmative votes.
The Electrolier and Street Committee asked for and were granted
further time in which to report on the matter of electroliers for the
gore at Bassett and English - Streets..

by Concilman Van Bebber, directing the City Attorney to bring an action
in the Superior Court for the condemnation of property necessary for the
opening of Fifth Street, was read, approved by the City Attorney and
ordered posted. .
ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:

factory ,premises in East Petaluma. to . R. W,.. Burrows., came up regularly
and Was adopted by 7 affirmative votes.

This being the time set for opening bids for the work described
in the matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 1, the Clerk
