Regular meeting 'of the C ouncil of the .City of .Petaluma called to order
by_ Mayor Sales.

READING OF THE JOURNAL:
The minutes o , e' last regular meeting of November 21st were read and
approved as recorded.
REPORTS OF CTTY 0FF,IGIAL.S:
Th UI erk reported e filing of Affidavit of Publication of Notice of
Auction Sale; 613o Affidavit of Posting of Ordinance No. 325 C.S.
The monthly reports of the Poundman,, -City `Wharfinger, Police Judge,
Auditor and Treasurer were read, and filed.

The Street Committee reported* r.e the placing of sidewalks on
Mary.Street,'recommending that they be placed on...both .sides of said street.

from the Armistice Day donation read and filed.
Communication from the League of California Municipalities enclosing
a copy of the uniform traffic ordinance, which has been adopted by nearly
all of the cities in California, was read, filed and the Chief of Police,
City Attorneyr� and Councilmen 'Farce -11 and Jessen were appointed to bring
in a report and recommendations on said ordinance,.
ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:

block bounded by�Kentucky -and Keller Streets, Western Avenue and Washington
Street, came . up °regular.l:y and was adopted by 7 affirmative votes.

ing and approving the sale of the Petaluma`Mun.ici.pal Rock Crusher to $ein
Bros. .Basalt Rock Co. for the sum of p3000. wa_s adopted by 7
vote's.

in the amount of $674.92, for the furnishing and installation "of 3 standards

Glahn., the Electro,lier Committee was directed to investigate . as to whether°
or,not. the new electroliers give.too great a light for that section.
Mt.View 'Sewer- Ds.t.No.3
The hearing'of protests on the Mt.View Sewer District was continued
until December '19th
Repair of DI St. Bridge;
The Street•.Commit -tee and Street Superintendent were given power -to act
in the repair of machinery on the "D" Street bridge.
Fire Alarm Boxes:
Memb °:ers of the. Fire Board presented a request for financial assistance
in the matter of buying 5 new fire alarm boxes, which are seriously needed.
On motion by Councilman Jessen, seconded by Councilman Farrell, the Gouncil

authorized the - installation of these boxes which are to be paid for from
the General Fund, and the matter was referred back.to the Board of Fire
Commission with power to act.
Copeland Creek: -
City Attorney Rowell presented a written opinion as to the
status of the ac pion of the C:otati Land Company vs. the City of Petaluma.
Attorney Hall addressed,the.Council requesting that the City do its part
in.. cleaning -out the debris along Copeland Creek. They matter was
referred to a Special Committee composed.of Gouricilmari.Farrell, Van
Bebber and Jessen.
A request , for rock on Mt.View Avenue was referred t.o the Street-..
Superint,endent.-and Street Committee. Another request for rock on Madison
and Vallejo Streets, was refer-.red to the Street Committee and Street
Superintendent.
The matter . of providing a garage for' the Poundman►'s car at Ke'ni1-
worth Park was referred to the Buildings and Grounds. Committee with
power to act.. The-repairing of the entrance to Kenilworth Park was
referred to the Street Superintendent.
