Communication from the League of California Municipalities enclosing a copy of the uniform traffic ordinance, which has been adopted by nearly all of the cities in California, was read, filed and the Chief of Police, City Attorneyr� and Councilmen 'Farce -11 and Jessen were appointed to bring in a report and recommendations on said ordinance,. Mt.View 'Sewer- Ds.t.No.3 The hearing'of protests on the Mt.View Sewer District was continued until December '19th Repair of DI St. Bridge; The Street•.Commit -tee and Street Superintendent were given power -to act in the repair of machinery on the "D" Street bridge. Fire Alarm Boxes: Memb °:ers of the. Fire Board presented a request for financial assistance in the matter of buying 5 new fire alarm boxes, which are seriously needed. On motion by Councilman Jessen, seconded by Councilman Farrell, the Gouncil 122 authorized the - installation of these boxes which are to be paid for from the General Fund, and the matter was referred back.to the Board of Fire Commission with power to act. Copeland Creek: - City Attorney Rowell presented a written opinion as to the status of the ac pion of the C:otati Land Company vs. the City of Petaluma. Attorney Hall addressed,the.Council requesting that the City do its part in.. cleaning -out the debris along Copeland Creek. They matter was referred to a Special Committee composed.of Gouricilmari.Farrell, Van Bebber and Jessen. A request , for rock on Mt.View Avenue was referred t.o the Street-.. Superint,endent.-and Street Committee. Another request for rock on Madison and Vallejo Streets, was refer-.red to the Street Committee and Street Superintendent. The matter . of providing a garage for' the Poundman►'s car at Ke'ni1- worth Park was referred to the Buildings and Grounds. Committee with power to act..
