I. B.,Raymond addressed the Council regarding the sewering of
Olive Street; stating that-he must have a sewer there at once:-. The
matter was discussed at 'length and on motion by Councilman Farrell,, r
seconded by Councilman Van,Bebber.,.it was left to the Street :Committtee'
and Street Superintendent with power to act.

The report of the Street Committee on the improvement of Telephone
Alley was discussed and a petition., signed by property owners on the
northern end of -the alley between Washington and Prospect- Street;

protesting ,the. * improvement, waIs 'presented by Mr. McMullin, who stated
that he believed `a few yards ofj crushed rock. would take care- of the
situation satisfactorily. On motion by Couricilman,Farrell, seconded by
Councilman RiOWOrts., it. was .agreed that the Council as a whole. would
invest'gate- view the premises before any action would be .taken.;
The matter of automatic traffic stop signals was presented and
explained by. a representative of the . Acme Co. and the" matter '.was
referred to the Chief of Police to report back..
