Mr..J.'A.'&enney addressed the City Council regarding fire protection for lower Third. Street. He offered to install a system which he beleves'will provide the necessary water from the river, to secure 70 the permit.from the War Department and to pay the entire cost himself with the understanding that i.f it proves., satisfactory at the end of one year then the City will reimburse..him at cost price. He estimated the cost to be .less than 050.0.00.....He,also specified that the City was to'furnish the hydrant.
