Regular meeting of the 'Council of the City of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Sales.
ROLL CALL:
Councilmen present: Farrell,'Ingerson, Jessen, Pendleton,
Riewerts, Van Beb,ber and Mayor Sales.
READING OF THE JOURNAL::
The min u e of the last regular meeting of November 5th and
the Special meeting of November 10th•were read'and approved as recorded.
R EPO R TS O F STANDING COMMITTEES:
The Finance Committee submitted its report, whereupon -
Resolution #3779 C.S.
introduced by Councilman Van B'ebber, seconded by Councilman Jessen,
directing the -tor to draw'warrantz against the various.City Funds
in payment of claims allowed and.approved by the Finance Committee,
adopted by 7 affirmative votes.

'The -Ct .r Attorney submitted a written opinion regarding
- or " Y` permi:tting of gasoline curb pumps, filed and on motion by
Councilman Farreli, seconded by Councilman Jensen, the matter of pending
applications for gasoline curb: pumps was under advisement for
further consideration.
Th&e Ch .OP of Police reported an interesting and instructive
convention of Peace Officers at San Bernardino.
Bids Garbage Collection.:'
This being the time set for opening bids for the exclusive
contract for th67 collection and removal of garbage, etc., the Clerk
reported having received two bids and proceeded to open and read said
bids,, one from -C'. W. Atkinson, who agreed t'o perform the labor, etc.
according, to the requirements of Ordinances No. 343 and 348 C.B., and
the other from A.'-Figoni, who offered $:125.00 per'=nth -to the City
for the privilege of exclusive, contract.,; wher

introduced by Councilman Farrell, seconded.by Councilman Jessen,
awarding the contract to A. Figoni and directing the Mayor to enter
into a contract for said work, adopted by .7 affirmative votes.
Stre lights:
Requests for street lights on Laurel Street, Raymond Heights,
Post Street and Spring Street were referred to the Street Committee with
power to act. On motion by Councilman Van Bebber,'seconded by Councilman
Farrell, the request for a light on N. Webster Street and Bodega Avenue
was referred to the City Attorney and S'treet.Superintendent for
investigation and report.
The matter of a concrete obstruction in Telephone Alley was
referred to the Superintendent of Streets and the Street Committee with
power to act.
Councilman Ingerson brought:up the matter of using the
loading ton.e6Y•for!=par,king. purposes from 6 P.M to 6 A.M. and the City
Attorney was direet!ed to prepare an ordinance so amending the traffic
ordinance.
s� Street Superintendent Glahn reported having interviewed
interested parties regarding the rriprovement of the alley back of the
Bank of Italy. It understood that work will be started there in the
very near fu:ture.'
