Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Sales.

Councilmen present: Farrell, Ingerson., Jessen, Pendleton, Riewerts,
Van Bobber and Mayor Sales..

adjourned meeting of January 24th were read and approved as recorded.

Introduced by Councilman Van Bebber, seconded by Councilman Pendleton,
directing the Auditor- to :draw warrants against the various City Funds
in payment of cl#ims allowed and approved by the .Finance Committee, adopted
by 7 affiriative votes.
PETITIONS AND COM UNICATIONS'.

Galland, - stating that they were .not asking for a change of grade, on said
street a't the present time, read and filed.
NEW BUSINESS:
Washington St:. Bridge:
The City Attorney reported hawing interviewed Mr. Herman Weber
regarding the electri,.cal operation of the bridge and as a result presented
general specifications for said work

introduced by Councilman Jensen, sec.onded.b.y Counc;:lman Pendleton, adopting
said specific�ations and dire: ing the City, Clerk to advertise for bids for
doing said work, ' adopted' by 7 affirmative votes. .
Fertilizing Plant:
Mr:. L. B-. Hammell, of the Western:Refrigerating Co., addressed the
Council on the subject of the two fertilizing, plants, located near Petaluma..
He stated that.the odor from these plants is very detrimental-to his
business and that he - fee s something must be done to rectify it.. He
was willing,, however, to give - them one week's time before presenting a
petition against them,. No action taken.
The matter of making the alley at the foot of Western Avenue, a
one way drive referred to the of Police and City Attorney.
