ROLL CALL,: Councilmen present- Farrell, Ingerson, Jessen, Pendleton, Riewerts, Van Bebber and Mayor Sales. READING OF THE JOURNAL: The minutes of 'the. last regular meeting of April lst were read and approved as recorded. REPORTS OF' CITY' OFFICIALS: The City Attorney submitted written instructions as, to the deposit of public moneys. Filed. B. .Silva for said- work., he being the lowest responsible bidder, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Resolution #3834 C :S. introduced by Councilman- Pendleton,. seconded by Councilman Jessen, acc:epting automobile from the Petaluma Nash .Company and directing the,Auditor to draw warrant in payment thereof, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Boulevard Stop - 6th & "D "' Sts. The matter of , stop signs at 6th and "D" Streets, was di,s.cussed and referred to the St reet 4ommit.tee and City Attorney for recommendation. Armstrong wa.t,er bill The Clerk reported the payment by Mr. Arm strong of $39.00 for water used at Kenilworth 'Park. On motion by Councilman Farrell, seconded by Councilman Van Be:bber., the matter was referred to Building and Grounds committee.' Resolution, #3835 C.S. introduced'by Councilman Farrell, seconded by Councilman Jessen, granting a donat -ion of $75.00 to the United. Spanish [flear Veterans, to be used in appropriate memorial day ceremonies, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Garbage Ordinance: Amendments'.t.o the garbage ordinances were discussed at length and referred back, to the- committee and city attorney for further investigation.
