The City Attorney reported that he had entered,an appearance before the. NEW BUS NESS: Airport - Kenilworth Park, A committee from the•American Legion presented a resolution asking that immediate steps b6 taken to provide the City With an airport and recommending KOnilWorth, Park as a suitable site.. The Mayor appointed Councilmen Mille-r and Sch a committee to meet with' the America.n Legion Committee and report back at the next meeting. Water shortage - Howard St'. hill: \A delegation 'of property owners- headed by Geo. B. Murphy Pres a petition asking relief in the of . Water shortage in - the hill section in the neighborhood of Howard, Pleasant.,, Oak anal Kent Streets Fire 'Chief Adams reported having investigated the water 218 pr.e'ssure in the fire 'hydrants and stated that at times � there was not sufficient water for fire :prot.ection. The matter -was. referred to the City Attorney who 'was tequ:es "ted to write. to the Railroad Commission and lay all of the facts before them. Resolution #3899 C.S: introduced by Councilman Van Bebber, seconded by Councilman McFadden, appointing Dr. J. E . Tierney <a. member of the Board : of Health, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Merritt - sewer Mr. John Merritt addressed the straightening of the Petaluuma without a sewer. The Chief of police: -reported the results of the traffic check at the intersection of 6th and D'Streets and it was decided to place strop signs -on 6th Street at D; ion Bassett at Liberty and on Park Avenue at Bo.de:ga; the traffi ordinance to be so amended and also amended to eliminate parkin g on "A" Street betWeen: 4th and 5th Streets. Councilman McFadden reported the completion of a map showing every light in, the City .and stated that the Committee is now ready to go to work on the improvement of the location O lights, etc. ADJOURNMENT: on motion regularly made and carried the meeting adjourned..
