Regular meeting of the Council of of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Farrell.
ROLL CALL:
Councilmen present: Ingerson, McFadden, Miller, Riewerts;
Schluckebier, ,Van Bebber and Mayor Farrell.
READING OF THE JOURNAL:
The minutes oT The-last regular meeting of October 21st were
read and approved as recorded. -
RERORT 'OF OFFICERS:
The monthly reports of the Auditor and Treasurer, Poundman,
Police Judge and City Wharfinger were read and filed.
The Clerk reported the filing of Affidavits of Posting and
Publication on Ordinances No. 361, 362, 363 and 364 C.S.

Resolution #3904 C.,S.
introduced by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Riewerts,
directing the Auditor to draw warrants on the various City Funds in
payment of claims allowed and approved by the Finance Committee, adopted
by 7 affirmative votes

that the application of E.. Denman McNear tore -zone certain .property

Letter. from the Petaluma Angus = Courier, asking permission to
construct a porch on the rear of their building read and referrred to
to the President of the :Fire ,Commission and the City Attorney for
investigation and report at the next meeting..
INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES:

seconded by Councilman Ingers;on., re- zoning certain property at Western
Avenue and N. Webster Street from residence to business.zone, was read,
approved by the City Attorney and ordered posted.
Ordinance No. 366 C:. S. introduced by Councilman McFadden,
seconded by Councilman Schluckebier, 'providing for speed limits - within
the City of Petaluma, was read, approved by the City Attorney and
ordered published.
ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:
ORlinance o , 1 ' C . S .. introduced by Counci loran Schluckebier,
seconded by Councilman McFadden, amending °the traffic ordinance to
provide lateral .stops at 6th and D Streets; Liberty and Bassett Streets
and Park and Bodega Avenues, came up regularly and was adopted by 7
affirmative votes.
Ordinance No., 362 .C:. S. ;was laid on the table until the next
regular meeting.
Ordinance No. 363 C.S. introduced by Councilman Van Bebber,
second,edi'by Councilman. In:gerson, establishing the grade of Spring Street,
from B to Douglas Streets, came up regularly and was adopted by 7
affirmative votes,
Ordinance 'No. 364 C.S. introduced by Councilman. Riew:erts,
seconded by Councilman Schluckebier, providing n

registration fee of 3/4� per gallon on all milk sold or distributed,
came up regularly and was adopted by 7 votes.

M•.. Ray Cole addressed the Council asking that they fulfill
their- promise, to rectify the flooding of his lands As a result of
the absence of curbs on I Street. The matter was referred to the
City Engineer and Street Committee for immediate action.
Prospect & Walnut St. parking:
The regulating of traffic on ,Prospect and Walnut . Streets .
was discus,s at length And the comitittee giver. further time far a
definite report.
Armi,s Day donation:

introduced by Councilman Miller, seconded, by Councilman Riewerts,
directing the Auditor to draw a - on the ;General Fund in
favor of the American Legion Petaluma Post No.-28, in the sum of
$150.00 at contribution and donation to the Petaluma Committee:for

authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement ement with the
Petaluma and. Santa, 'Rosa Railroad Company for the purpose . s of supporting
the necessary Wires for the fire alarm system of the City, at an
annual rental of $1.00, adopted by 7 affirmative vote te,s.
Bridge St. storm sewer:.
, The matter of installing. an 18"' -storm sewer on Bridge Street,.
was recommended by the Street ConrAtt.ee who submitted an estimate

Mrs the Council relative to an alleged
nuisance in East Petaluma. Referred to the Chief of Police.
Councilman lngers,on suggested an ordinance which would
require persons desiring to burn grass to fi secure . a 'a permit.
