READING OF THE JOURNAL:
The menu-ea o. the last regular meeting of December 2nd were
read and approved as recorded.
REPORTS
1. OF OFFICERS:
e Clerk reported the 'filing of Affidavit of Publication, of .
Ordinan-ce No. 368 G.S.
The Auditor and Chairman of the .Finance ' Commiittee reported the
apportionment of' money from the Unapportioned Fund to the various
funds entitled thereto. Filed.
REPORT OF'STANDI COMMITTEES:
The Finance Gommi tte_&submd tted its report; whereupon
Resolution #3915 C.S.
introduced by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman S`chluckebier,
directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the various City Funds
in payment of claims allowed and approved by the Finance Committee
adopted by 6.affirmative votes, 1 absentee.
Councilman Miller , reported that the Airport Committee,, in
company with the committee from the American `Legion., had inspected
several possible sites for an airport.

INTRODUC'TI'ON OF ORDINANCES
r finance o. - 369 T.S. introduced., by C'.ouncilman Schluckebie'r,
seconded by Councilman Miller, prohibiting the parking of vehicles
on "A" Street, was read, approved by the City Attorney and ordered posted.
ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:
Ordinance o.. 68 C.S._ introduced by Councilman Zchluckebier,
seconded by Councilman Riewerts,, granting to Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, the right, privilege and. franchise of using' any and all mains,
pipes, And conduits in the public 'highways, streets And alleys of the
City af.Petaluma for the purpose of supplying said City and its
inhabitants with gas light,, came up regularly and was adopted by 6
affirmative votes, 1,absent.ee.
NEW BU:SI NESS:
Kentucky St. electroliers:.
Councilman McFadden presented the contract for street lighting
installation on Kentucky Stre which was referred to the City Attorney
and City Engineer for examination and approval..
Olive St repairs:
The request of Mr. Roselli for assistance in repairing Olive
Street which was torn up by the utility companies, referred to the
Street Superintendent.
Replacing of curb- Mag.etti Service Station:
Resolution #5916. C.S.
introduced by Councilman Riewerts, seconded by Councilman Schluckebier,
ordering the owner and /or lessee of the property on the Southeast corner
of Liberty and Washington Streets to restore the sidewalk curbing on
Liberty Street except for such driveway entrances a the Chairman of
the Street Committee should deem proper to .permit. access to said property,
adopted by 6 affirmatiVe votes, l absentee.
Theā¢Street Committee reported having erected new traffic signs.
Cou.nelhan McFadden suggested a plan for the better lighting.of
.-Main & 3rd Streets for the future consideration of the Council.
