RENDING OF THE JOURNAL: I The m nu es o'- e last regular meeting of February 3rd were read and approved as record REPORTS OF STANDING C'OP M *fTTEES The Finance Committee submitted its report, whereupon Resolution 43924 C.S introduced by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman McFadden, directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the various City Funds in payment of claims allowed and approved by the Finance Committee, adopted by 7 affirmative votes.. - Kenney fire prote:c'tion plant: Councilman Schluckebier reported that the.Committee would have a definite report on the Kenney fire protection plant at the next meeting. Lighting System: Councilman McFadden asked for and was granted further time in which to report on the better lighting of Main & 3rd Streets. Improvement .of Keokuk St.: Mayor Farrell.appdinted the Council a Committee of the whole to interview Mr. Craig regarding the improvement of Keokuk Street. PETITIONS '& COMMUNICATI:ONS: .m, nylva re­-zoning: Communication from the Planning Commission re- commending that the application of Wm. Sylva for the re- zonin:g.of:hi:s property on Bodega Avenue and Upham Street, be granted., read and filed. Application from Foley & Burk for permission to shove in Petaluma between the dates of June 9th and July l2th read and filed, and Resolution #3925 C.S. ._introduced by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Ingerson, granting said application, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Application, from Van Bobber ' Brothers Co. for permission to extend the southeast rear corner of their shop building on .Main Street, 15 x 30 feet, read a nd filed, and Resolution #3�926 C.S..' introduced by Councilman Riewerts, seconded by Councilman Ingerson, granting. said application, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. CD INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES: Ordinance No. 370 C.S, introduce by Councilman Miller, re- zoning certain Streets from residence district or zone and amending the official zoning map of thereto, was: read and ordered posted. 1 by Councilman McFadden., seconded property at Bodega Avenue and Upham into business or colmercial zone the City of Petaluma to conform NEtV BUSINESS: John uckett- member Music Commission: Resolution #3927 C.S. introduced by Councilman Riewerts, seconded by Councilman Miller, appointing John 'Buckett a member of the Music Commission, adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Gasoline Contracts: Resolution #E3928 G.S. introduced by Councilman Ingerson, seconded by Councilman Schluckebier auth- orizing -the Mayor to enetar into contracts with the various gasoline companies for furnishing gasoline to the City fo -r the year 1930, adopted. by 7 affirma- tive votes. Gouncil7nari Ingerson brought up the subject of using Kenilworth Pare as a camp ground. The matter was discussed and referred to the Park Commiss= 4 •234 ion.
