Regular meeting of the Council. of the City of Petaluma
called to order by Mayor Farrell.
ROLL CALL:

READING OF THE JOURNAL
The m nutes of the last regular meeting of May 5th were read
And approved as recorded.
REPORTS - OF STANDING COMMITTEES:
The nance omm tee su mitted its 'report, whereupon
Resolution #393.7 C.:S.
Introduced by Councilman McFadden, seconde.d'by Councilman Schluekebier,
directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the various-City Funds
in payment of claims allowed and approved by the Finance Committee,
adopted by 7 affirmative votes
The Buildings and Gro-undsl Committee reported having' secured-
plans for the erection of a shelter -for the caretaker at the City
Dumps and was given power to act in the construction of said building.
PETITIONS AND 00164UNICATIONS:
At pe'tition 'sign; ' T bY property owners on Hill Boulevard, Hayes
Avenue, Bellevue Avenue and.Orehard Lane,, asking the Council to
establish the official grade said streets., was.read, filed and
referred to the City Attorney.
A petition asking that, Hill Avenue be re- opened for a width
of 60 feet from Dana to English Streets was read, filed and referred
to the City Attorney.

ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:.
Ordinance No.772 G,,.S. introduced by Councilman Schluckebier,
seconded by Councilman 'Riewerts, providing for a boulevard stop , on
Bassett Street at its intersection with Howard Street., came up
regularly and was adopted by 7 affirmative votes.

NEW BUSINESS

on the east side of the "Washington Street Bridge. are too steep and 'in
hi's opinion in a dangerous condition. 'Referred to the Street Superintend,

Mr. Herbert Cochrane addressed the Council. asking that Nielsen
Court be accepted.. Referred to the City Attorney for investigation.
Mr. L. M..Caldwell. addressed the Council regarding
insurance. Discussion was held and the matter referred to the City
Attorney.
