The City Attorney was directed to write to the County. Board of Hedlth' and call attention to this nuisance.., Need of additional, Police, Of-fic'ers: Chibf of Police Pet6rs and Mr. M. Goldman ldman ad dres'sed the. Council asking that more officers be providdd f6r.,µthe police -department. The matter was discussed at length and referred to the Finance Committee and Music Commission to work out a solution. The matter ' of continuing the work of the garbage inspector was discussed and'it was decided to retain Inspector Myers at one half of his former salary, 1 The unemployment situation was -brought. up'2b7 Mayor Farrell,, who suggest6d­that some organizatign be perfected composed of all civic clubs, charities, etc. to furnish some relief for the unemployed during the coming winter months. The matter was left-tothemembers of the City Council for consideration and -report later.
