Regular meeting of the Council of the City of-Petaluma
called to order by Mayor Farrell.
ROLL CALL.:
resent: Councilmen Ingerson, McFadden, Miller,
Schluckebier, Van Bebber and Mayor Farrell.
Absent: Councilman Riewerts.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES:
— The Finance' Gommitt'ee subfnitted its report, whereupon
Resolution #4073 C.S;
introduced by Councilman Miller; seconded by Councilman
McFadden, directing the Auditor to draly warrants against the
various City Funds in payment of claims allowed and approved
by the Finance Committae,• adopted by 6 affirmative votes, 1
absentee.
PETITIONS-AND CO IVtMUNICATIO NS,:
- App -c.a ions for permffssion to sell soft drinks -read
and filed, and
Resolution #4074 C.S.
introduced by Councilman McFadden„ seconded by Councilman
Miller, granting permission to Jack.& Bills Lunch and the
Petaluma Public Market Grocery to sell soft drinks at #12
Kentucky Street, adopted by 6 affirmative votes, 1 absentee.

Councilman ingeraon of the Street Gommttee•reported
that the ditches on Mt.,View Avenue.had been taken care of
as well as possible; the same having been - • widened and deepened
in order to carry -off the surplus storm water.
Overflow water on Western Avenue:
Councilman Ingerson reported having investigated the
necessity of an additional storm sewer for the overflow
water at Western Avenue and Webster Street and stated
that in his opinion., the improving of about 200 feet of N.
Webster Street with concrete curbs and gutters would solve
the problem. The matter wasi tabled until the next regular
meeting of the Council.
