accepting and approving said report, and fixing Wednesday the
11th day of May, 1932, the hour of 7030 P.M. at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall,' as the time and place for a public
hearing upon said report, and, directing the Clerk to mail a notice
of said hearing to each person to whom land in the proposed
assessment district is assessed, adopted by_'7 .affirmative votes.

the Council on .the subject of insuring ;securities `held for. bank
deposits:.., The matter was discussed and referred to the Finance
Committee.
Mayor Farrell asked. Councilmen Inger&on and RieWerts. to
.confer with City Attorney Cromwell in order that a written
agreement may be prepared for the rental of a portion of the Seaver
Farm to the Royal Tallow•and.Soap Company.
Attorney Charles Clifford appeared before the Council
proposing to examine the terms. of public utility franchise's
with a view to obtaining increased payments therefrom, whereupon
Resolution #4088 C.S.
introduced by Councilman McFadden, seconded by Councilman Miller,
authorizing the Mayor to, enter into an' agreement for and in
behalf of the City with Charles- Clifford, adopted by 7 affirmative
Votes .
Mayor. Farrell called attention to the coming special
election on May 17th andL asked that,the Council do everything
possible to interest the people favorably in this election.
