The minutes of the last regular , meeting of July 5th were read and approved as recorded. J REPORTS OF OFFICERS:. The annual report :of the Park Commi,ss.ion read and filed.. Mayor Farrell commended the Commission highly for s'ubmitting such a complete and.,splendid report. The Clerk reported the fil of Affidavit of` Publication of Ordijjance, No. 392 G. S. RE-PORTS OF STANDING COMIJITTEES: Th�e _F_ih6nce Committee'§ubmitted Lt§ report whereupon Resolution #4117 C. S. introa by Councilman McFadden, ae ' 'conded by Councilman Miller, directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the. various City •Funds in payment of claims : allowed -and approved by.,the Finance Committee, adopted by 6 affirmative votes,.1 absentee..-,- Councilman Schluckebier reported progress in� the. matter -" of the improvement of M t View Avenue stating that the agreement had ,.been signed for by all of the property owners with the exception of one and that the money for the work .is now being collected. The matter of outside trucks was,disciis'sed and ,City Attorney Cromwell was instructed to prepare an ordinance covering same: The rquest for a street light"on the Wallace Tract referred.to�Cou Residents in the neighborhood, of Fair Dana and :Sheldon Streets addrassed the Council; , asking that some action be:ta!ken in the matter of removing old machinery from a vacant lot on Dana Street.
